About Pro the Distance

The Start of Something Great

Originally Smith Bros. Plumbing, Pro the Distance is a 100% family owned and operated business that grew out of years in the field, working through real problems and seeing what actually holds up over time. Along the way, it became clear that the difference wasn’t just the best tools or equipment. It was a positive, future-focused mindset.

We believe that long-lasting work always comes from a few consistent habits:

• Taking ownership of the full system, not just the visible issue
• Slowing down long enough to understand what’s actually happening
• Finishing the job in a way that doesn’t leave loose ends behind

This approach is how Pro the Distance tackles every job, every day. It shapes how the team operates and what customers can expect every time they call us!

Licensed Plumber

Why Do Neighbors Choose Us?

Experience matters, but it only shows its value when it’s applied the right way. What separates this team from all the other plumbers out there is how the time getting our reps in has shaped the way we approach each job and each customer.

• Driven to Deliver
Every job has a point where it could be considered “good enough.” That’s usually where problems start coming back. Our team pushes past that point and stays focused on how the system performs once everything is back in motion. The goal is not to get through the job, but to get it to a place where it will hold up for as long as it should.

• Road-Tested Professionals
This team has been behind the wheel for a while now, and has seen it all: how systems behave under stress, how small issues turn into larger ones, and where certain fixes fall short. That awareness helps us make better decisions in the moment and avoid the kind of oversights that lead to repeat calls.

• No Shortcuts Taken
There is always a faster way to complete a job, but far too often those shortcuts result in equally fast failures. We work through the full scope of the problem and address it at the source. It may take more intention up front, but it prevents the cycle of temporary fixes that never quite solve anything.

• Full-Throttle Friendliness
Good work also relies on good attitudes. Our team shows up with a mindset built on respect, trust, and a genuine willingness to help. We want to be sure that you are fully comfortable with the professionals that you welcome into your home.
